Fabrication & Fit
Once back in the UK, at our purpose built factory, we employ highly-skilled ‘artisan’ stonemasons, as well as the latest CNC technology, enabling us to fabricate a comprehensive range of stone components, including wall and floor cladding/tiling, kitchen work surfaces, vanity tops, bath surrounds, shower trays, staircase components, architectural mouldings/profiles such as skirting and architrave and any number of bespoke items only limited by your own imagination. All components are manufactured to exacting standards from site templates to ensure the very best results. If vein, book or butterfly matching is required, the slabs are assessed to ensure we make the right cuts, to achieve the most beautiful results, while also being mindful of getting the most efficient yield from the slabs. We are always happy to provide and agree drawings of the proposed vein, book or butterfly matching, before cutting. We can also do a full dry lay at our factory, for approval, before finally fitting. At Mondo Stone all our stone is hand finished to provide the utmost quality for our clients.
Installation
We are proud of the care and attention to detail shown by our experienced fitting teams and ‘artisan’ stonemasons, particularly in the often challenging environment of the construction site. Our teams are used to working with care and professionalism on every project and will always respect the privacy and security of every development. We are always mindful of the high quality and finish that is demanded by our clients, whether it be a private residential or commercial project and we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest possible standards of workmanship. This attention to detail has enabled us to work on some very high profile and prestigious projects, including Riverwalk, Centre Point, Clarges Mayfair and Knightsbridge Gate. We work directly with your project manager to ensure that we deliver and install your stone at the best time, to maximise efficiency and achieve timely completion of your project.
